У нас зимой тоже не особо жарко, глюков из-за минусовой температуры не замечено.
Выявлен один недочёт-обрыв провода к вентилятору- но как здесь говорят он свойственен моделям 1.4 TSI.

Забрал наконец-то своего зверя, все было круто первые 100 км... После че-то забренчало под капотом, все думаю, приехали... Открыл, увидел следующую картину, на радиаторе стоит 2 крыльчатки, одна из которых ходит ходуном(дисбаланс) отправился к диллеру, все исправили за 2,5 часа, которые я и отсидел в комнате отдыха, в общем сдернули вентилятор с другой машины, поставили, проехался, вроде все ок, и надеюсь что так оно и останется, за мои 100 км средний расход составил 10,7 литра, в режиме обкатки (город+трасса).
В целом машина оправдала мои ожидания!

Как обнаружилось?На кочках, на небольшой скорости, в большинстве случаев после после отпусками педали тормоза, не знаю даже как описать, были стуки сзади, думал что то в подвеске.
Заехал к ОД на диагностику где и было выявлено. Сказали, было подобное на Тауранах.

ProsGood handling and steering/ good front seat comfort/ small size is easy to parkConsReturned to dealer 4 times in 6 months/ horrific brakes, electronics/ some cheap interior plastics

Overall an average engineered SUV. Forget the hype about German engineering. It is just that-- all hype. I thought VW was making better quality cars these days but it seems the more things change the more they stay the same. The engine light came on within the first month and then went off by itself. I brought it to the dealer anyways and they said a error had occured in the exhaust control system and it should not happen again. Only two weeks later, the lgiht came on again. This time, the engine was misfiring due to a poor "software program". I was out of a new car for 4 days! NO LOANER! I had to rent a car from Enterprise. Then everything was ok until about a month ago when the brakes started to wobble at high speed. The dealer said the rotors were warpped and needed to be replaced at my expense! It costs $200 to resurface plus then you need new pads which ran another $370 plus labor and it cam eout to $701 with tax! Is this crazy or what?
Now the rest about the car as I might have gotten a lemon...
The basics are ok, nothing special here. 4 Motion is good in bad weather and seamless in operation. The engine and tranny are a good match but overburdened with 5 people and their cargo for a weekend trip as we found out. Gas mileage is 15 city and 21 highway. People- this is real world driving not the EPA! So anyone who says I get 30 MPG in a Tiguan is not telling the truth. Ask them to prove it!
The basic radio is pretty good for an entry level SUV. I bought no upgrades at all. The interior design is ok but it feels very cheap in quality. The funny thing is it looks like quality in pictures and even in person but then when you really use it everyday you can see where the lowered their quality to keep the price low. The glove box door is not even level on both sides... hmmm. I also had to take it back because the head lamp is burned out!! ERRRRR!
The options are very expensive so avoid any options. You can buy a handheld Garmin NUVI navigation system for $200 at bestbuy or pay ten times the price for a VW navi which really is disappointing and hard to use (probably unreliable like the rest of the car!)
In the end I am looking to return this. Not recommended (except to my mother in law!)

Take one test drive of the Tiguan SEL, and you will never set foot near a RAV 4, CRV, or Forester.
This car is pure fun to drive. We got the 4-Motion on both our Tiguans, and it has proven to be very sure footed in the Upstate NY winters, as well as the New England slop & slush.
The kids love the HUGE sliding moonroof ( I think it opens to almost 12 sqr feet) and it's almost like a convertible . The Tiguan seems to be the ideal power - weight balance - very sturdy construction (5-star front & side crash ratings) , yet plenty of road agility and pep. It is real easy to roll-past the 65mph speedometer hash-mark in this buggy.
The 6-speed Tiptronic transmission is smooooottthhhhhh.
Tiguan's interior is very well thought-out. All fascia, knobs, and do-hickeys have been put through finishing school. It is elegant, with no gratuitous & clunky clusters of plastic toggles or techno- geekery. Every control is well-placed, and very much reminds me of the console of my '95 Accord (before Honda started crapping those up).
Great front driver and passenger visibility: expansive front windshield, thin corner pillars, and no "bunker-style" dashboard assure that you can see the road.
If you DO like electronic gadgetry, get the NAV . At more than $2,000 , it's an expensive option, but it is without a doubt the best in the industry . . very large screen, easy to read, sharp resolution. . . and, well, it just looks really cool the way VW built it into the center console
We have had one Tiguan for 12 months, and the other since January. Absolutely no complaints or repair issues.
I would not get a Tiguan if you have a large family. Tiguan is a small sport ute and is just right for a family of 4. You'll want something bigger for families of 5+
The rear passenger compartment is cavernous. It really surprised me the first time I sat in the back of the Tiguan. More legroom and headroom than we had in our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We have already taken the kids to 2 drive-in movies in the Tiguan, and, despite the D-Day sized amount of blankets, pillows, food & bev`supplies - there was plenty of room for all.

Правый передний стабилизатор -гарантия. второй год
Подвесной подшипник-куланс 50/50% . третий год
Моторчик/насос HALDEX -куланс 50/50%. третий год
Правый задний ступичный подшипник, левый передний стабилизатор, передние салент блоки все,за мой счет -на третий год .
В настоящий момент 75 ткм.Машиной доволен, дилеров расстрелять.все з.части дорогие

1. Кардан в сборе. (50 тыс примерно)
2. 2 раза делали ручник - меняли моторчики (30 и 55 тыс).
3. Красили дверь и крышку багажника (краска пошла волдырями).
4. Двигатель меняли несколько датчиков, и прокладки - была течь масла.
5. Под конец гарантии - поменяли амортизатор передний (потек).

Тигуан 1,4 122 лс 6мкпп на холодную коробка тарахтит в два раза громче чем двигатель,на холостых троит,скрип в районе средней стойки,моторчик печки на2-ой скорости подвывает.машине 1 месяц+5500км.я от машины в шоке!!!
Блин люди не покупайте 1,4 не в коем случае. Почитайте тему про 1.4 он с рождения на Тиге мертв. За эти деньги берите Б/у те машины на которые покажет пальцем механик, который обслуживает машины после гарантии.
Как правило механики на VAG советуют дизель или 2литра бенз
