I and my friends would like to know the answers to following questions:
1. Will be translated the interface of device RNS 510 into Russian ?
2. If yes, when?
3. Whether it is possible to change current language of my device RNS 510 after that? Or only the dealer VW?
4. Will be translated the interface of device MFA+ into Russian ?
5. If yes, when?
6. Whether it is possible to change current language of my device MFA+ after that? Or only the dealer VW?
Unfortunately, Volkswagen Group Rus could not give us the answers to these questions. More precisely, Volkswagen Group Rus has given opposite answers. At first - that such works are not planned VW Group, then - that these works have started to conduct in Germany and by September, 2010 these works will be finished.
We in some bewilderment now... Without a translation into Russian a considerable quantity of functions of devices RCD510, RNS510 and Bluetooth devices are inaccessible to users in Russia. It is heavy to use navigation of device RNS 510...
We know that since 2012 VW Group will use the electronical devices of LG. It means that devices RCD 510, RNS 510 of firm Blaupunkt will never have the interface in Russian and we do not must to buy them now...
Many your competitors (Toyota, Suzuki) already have the devices in Russian, but not VW. And it is a pity... Oh! Since September, 2010 in Russia the law on full russification of electronic devices in cars starts to operate. It will make impossible delivery in Russia RCD 510 and RNS 510... Yes???

After sending your inquiry to the responsible department, we have received the answers to your questions regarding the RNS 510 of your car.
1. The interface of the device RNS 510 will be translated into Russian language approximately in May 2011.
2. It is not excluded that it will be possible to change the current language into Russian, but at the moment there are no plans
of carrying out such procedure.
3. The multi-functional display high and premium will be translated also into Russian language from May/June 2010.
4. At the moment there is no information available if it will be possible to change the current language of the multi-functional display into Russian language, but it is not excluded that this may be possible as well.
If you need further information regarding your audio system RNS 510, please consult a Volkswagen dealer of your choice.

В сухом остатке по "наибыстрейшей кириллизации" (если кто не может перевести):
1. RNS510 -
май 2011, можно ли будет перешить - х.з (надежда умрет последней).
2. MFD+ -
май 2010, можно ли будет перешить - х.з (надежда умрет последней).
3. Мы действительно рады помочь Вам, владельцам VW, но
"трахайте интенсивнее" наконец своих дилеров и гребаное представительство, чтобы на Ваши вопросы отвечали они!!!
