Это стойкость масла к образованию сажевых отложений?
ага, чем больше закрашено, тем лучше защита.
- Soot thickening - сажевые отложения
- Wear - износ
- Sludge - шлам
- Piston deposits - нагар на поршнях
- Oxidative thickening - антиокислительные свойства
- Fuel economy - экономия топлива
- Aftertreatment compabillity -

VW 505.01 (1999) - Full SAPS formula for fixed drain intervals - 15000km/1 year.
Specially developed heavy duty engine oil for VW "Pumpe-Duse" (unit injector or "PD" engines) and for the V8 Commonrail turbo-diesels and also some Audi RS gasoline engines.
Full SAPS - 1999 - VW 505.01 max. limit Sulphated Ash 1.5%, Phosphorus 0.11% weight Typical: 5W-40
Note:
1. VW 506.01 0W-30 (Audi R5 and V10 PD only) and VW 507/504 5W-30 are also backward compatible but fixed service interval should be followed. Due to low HTHS viscosity respectively reduced SAPS chemistry, wear trend should be monitored closely.
2. API CJ-4 Heavy Duty Diesel (sulphated ash limit 1%) 5W-40 and 10W-40 show excellent results against VW 505.01 (1999) however it is not an official VW recommendation.
3. VW 505.01 exceeds the following specifications and is backward compatible with: VW standard 502.00 (petrol engines), 505.00 (conventional diesel engines)
4. Not for use where DPF is fitted.
VW 505.01 (2005) - Reduced SAPS formula for fixed drain intervals - 15000km/1 year.
Specially developed engine oil for VW "Pumpe-Duse" (unit injector or "PD" engines)
Mid SAPS - 2005 - VW 505.01 Sulphated Ash max. limit 0.8%, Phosphorus ~0.08% weight
Typical: 5W-40, 5W-30
Note:
1. VW 506.01 0W-30 (Audi R5 and V10 PD) and VW 507/504 5W-30 are also backward compatible but fixed service interval should be followed. Due to low HTHS viscosity respectively even lower SAPS chemistry, wear trend should be monitored closely with these formulations.
2. VW 505.01 exceeds the following specifications and is backward compatible with: VW standard 502.00 (Otto engines), 505.00 (conventional Diesel engines)
